Join the Classical Reflections Book Group where we will be discussing the international best-selling book “The Wisdom of the Myths”, How Greek mythology can change your life by Luc Ferry.

Art students from Adele Harrison and Altimira Middle Schools are at the perfect age to learn how to become good stewards of our planet. Last month, the students were given time in their art classes to research an endangered animal of their choice, and write a description including what it eats, its size, what it looks like, and its habitat. Join the Classical Reflections Book Group where we will be discussing "Ithaca" by Claire North. This “dazzlingly complex, twisting tale” tells the story of Penelope of Ithaca, famed wife of Odysseus, and her time on an isle populated with abandoned women–and their goddesses–as they change the course of the world. We will finish discussing this book at our April Group.

The Sonoma Valley Regional Library is hosting an exhibition of paintings by Jane Kiskaddon from May 1 to 31. The public is invited to meet the artist at a reception on Friday May 10th from 4:00 pm to 5:45 pm in the library’s forum room. Light refreshments will be served. Parking Lot Sale 10 AM to 3 PM! Hardback books are $2 each. Paperback books are $1 each.  DVD's, CD's & LP's are $1 each. Credit cards are encouraged. Cash accepted. No checks will be accepted. Bring your own bags, please. Masks are optional. Street parking only. Rain will cancel the Sale. Restrooms are available during library hours only (1 PM to 5 PM).
