Join us for a celebration of Latino music and culture
Our "Dia de Los Muertos" (Day of the Dead) celebration is set for November 1 from 11am-3 pm at the Sonoma Valley Library.  This event is free and open to the public, with bilingual volunteers on site.

  • Bring the Entire Family for an Afternoon Concert and Dancing
  • Celebrate Latino Music and Culture
  • Contribute to an Altar-Bring Photos/Poems or Supplies will be Available
  • Refreshments-Pan de Muerto, Cookies and Mexican Hot Chocolate
  • Children’s Arts & Crafts
  • Introduction to Library Services & How to Obtain a Library Card!

Schedule:
11:00 AM MEG BEELER - EARTH CARE TAKERS!
Drum invocation honoring our ancestors.
12:00 PM MARK ABDILIA - CLASSICAL GUITARIST!
Flamenco guitar performance.
1:00 PM DONNA AGOITIA & RANDY COOK - TANGO PETALUMA!
Argentine tango dance.
2:00 PM THE 5-PIECE CARLOS HERRERA BAND!
Latin music rhythms experience.
